Well, the Sheriffs’ Dept. needs your help in catching a very violent killer. This person must be captured before someone else dies. On Feb 24th shortly after 11:00 p.m., the Madison County Sheriffs’ Dept. responded to a call of an apparent homicide at 426 Old Pinson Road. The victim, who was later identified as Sammy Don Massengill, age 42, was violently attacked at his residence. Mr. Massengill was pronounced dead at his home by medical personnel.
